Salzburg Festival - 60km
Every summer the Salzburg Cathedral Square is the backdrop for the famous spectacle of the Salzburg Festival - Hugo von Hofmannsthal's "Jederman". Inspired by the theatricality of the Piazza del Duomo, Max Reinhardt staged in front of the entrance arches of Salzburg Cathedral on 22 August 1920 the "Jedermann" for the first time.
