Russbach is an Austrian hiking village
Our hikes to the fossilised snail wall an the Almenrundweg have been approved as “convenient trails with a high density of adventures on offer”. Russbach is situated exactly at the intersection point of high Alpine Dachstein and the Salzburger Voralpen region, whose summits are very well accessible to hikers. You can also choose from Alpine hiking trails and via ferrata routes in the south, right up into Dachstein´s eternal ice, and the more gentle, yet no less beautiful, routes in the north – the Postalm for instace, Austria´s biggest Alpine area.
The hiking bus runs every Friday in the period from mid-June to late September on the route Gosausee - Russbach - Abtenau - Annaberg. We give you the opportunity to return to your starting point after your local or valley crossing hike.
You will receive the TennengauPLUS Guest Card when you check in at your accommodations. With your guest card you have many advantages in our village and the Culinary delight & Adventure Region Tennengau.
For Guests in Russbach the entry to the Natural Bath and the Waterpark, as well as the Hornbahn and Brunos Bergwelt is for free with the TennengauPLUS Card.
