It is now also possible to collect hiking pins digitally.
With the free SummitLynx app, you can easily log your hikes using your smartphone. GPS is used to check in at hiking destinations and stamp points around Russbach, the Dachstein and the Tennengau. The hikes you’ve completed are automatically saved in your personal online logbook.
Whether it’s a leisurely alpine pasture hike, a family outing or a challenging summit trek – every route completed brings hikers one step closer to a digital hiking pin.
If desired, the pins earned can also be purchased as real pins from the Russbach Tourist Office – as a memento of eventful days in the Tennengau mountains.
The digital hiking pin combines tradition with modern technology and makes hiking in Russbach a special experience.

The natural surroundings of Russbach offer countless opportunities to enjoy, explore and relax. To ensure that this unique landscape is preserved and that hikers, farmers and grazing livestock can coexist harmoniously, it is particularly important to behave considerately and respectfully.
A responsible approach to nature, animals and property not only ensures safety but also guarantees an unspoilt hiking experience. Showing consideration for grazing livestock, staying on marked paths and taking your rubbish away all help to preserve the alpine pastures as a valuable habitat and recreational area.
