Rapid Toboggan Descent from the Angerkaralm hut

Following the gravel road you will reach the Rinnbergalm within one hour. There are already some lovely huts here but not hosted in winter. But if you follow the road to the left until you reach the Angerkaralm hut you will find a cosy welcoming hut waiting for you with great national food. After you can enjoy a great toboggan run down to Russbach.

Natur Toboggan Run in the Gosauer Hintertal

Toboggan Fun in Gosau (7 km)

After an idyllic hike from the valley you will reach the start of the toboggan run within 20 minutes. At the beginning and at the end of the toboggan run you can find a silver container, where you can borrow the toboggans.

Start: 100 m before the Restaurant Gosauschmied there is a car park on the left hand side

Toboggan Loan: You can borrow a toboggan from the container at the beginning and end of the run

Ascent with the Cable Car

Karkogel Toboggan Run in Abtenau (10 km)

Take the Karkogelbahn cable car and go up to the starting point within 5 minutes. From there you have a great view and great descent.

Toboggan hire: directly in the valley station 9 - 15 Euro
Opening Times: snow conditions allowing, daily from 8.30 am to 4 pm. Night Tobogganing with lights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6-9 pm (toboggan run is lit until 11 pm)

Nature Toboggan Run Lungötz/Neubachtal (21 km)

The toboggan run has a lenght of approx 1 km. After a short ascent on foot you can reach the top and start of the downhill run. The run is open until 9 pm with lights.

Ultimative Fun in the Snow

Snowtubing in St. Martin (24 km)

Great fun for young and old to experience snow, ice & speed safely as an absolute adventure. An approx. 250 m long lift takes you up to the departure points, then it goes downhill for approx. 350 - 400 m through the snow channel. You can alos try it at night on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 6 to 8 pm on the lit run.

Costs: Single Ride 3 Euros, or 12 Euros per hour
Opening Times: Daily depending on snow conditions from 2 pm to 5 pm. Night snowtubing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 6 to 8 pm
